YWAM is an international missions organization. YWAM stands for Youth With A Mission. Their heart behind missions is to champion youth in knowing God and making Him known to all the nations of the world. They have DTS (Discipleship Training Schools) in YWAM Missions bases all over the world. These schools are around 5 to 6 months long and focus on building discipleship and pursuing God for the first part of the school and then going out into the nations to participate in the Great Commission. YWAM also has many other ministries and schools all for supporting missions and ministries. Their schools range from Schools of Biblical Studies, to high risk security ministries, agricultural ministries and missions to mercy ministries across the world and on the seas with YWAM Ships.
